Wortbox is a digitally controlled self made FLAP-Display. It consists of seven word boxes, each filled with 24 words, that are lined up in a row to form a sentence. Lines from poems were split up following a strict structure, and the words resulting from this division are put into these Word boxes. With partly random and partly controlled combinations these words generate new poems and new meanings.
This project was a collaboration with Sara Schurter.
