Natebu is an interface concept for interactive surfaces. It consist of a LED matrix with both output LEDs and input infrared transistors that recognize any approaching object and person. The matrix is controlled by the Arduino open source electronics prototyping platform and can be programmed for various kind of input reactions. Natebu was designed to be installed in public spaces in the form of a large multi-user interactive display.

This project was a collaboration with the industrial designer AndrČ Huber.

Made with Arduino.

Special thanks to Iftest AG for sponsoring the PDB layout design and to my professor Felix Stampfli.
